A Blogger’s 5 Year Affiliate Earning For Inspiration : $80410

Earlier I shared a detailed report of my 4 year AdSense earning, and one of the Shouter suggested to do a similar post for Affiliate marketing income, and it makes sense too to share such a report. Before earning from AdSense, my first earning was from Dreamhost affiliate program, where I earned my first $47 as affiliate income, and that was a very big amount at that point of time. Funny thing is, when I […]

Apple Bringing Back iPhone 4 8GB At Rs 15K: Clearing Off Unsold Inventory?

Sales is the toughest domain. Falling market share and sales makes one do the unimaginable, even resurrect the dead. And Apple is no stranger to such things.
Facing stiff competition from cheaper rivals selling the Windows phones and the market leader Android with Samsung, Micromax and others, Apple is now bringing back its once-upon-a-time-miracle phone to rev up its sales.
Apple had launched its seventh generation iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C smartphones a few months ago and now reportedly relaunching the 8 GB version of its four years old phone, the iPhone 4. The iPhone 4 was discontinued after the launch of 5 and 5S last year.

Market share fight?
Apple’s share in the Indian smartphone market peaked to more than 4% in October-December 2012 and January-March 2013 before dwindling to 1.4% in October 2013, according to CMR data. Samsung’s share, in contrast, rose to a whopping 42% from 33% in the same period.
What’s on offer?
A buyback scheme for the 8GB variant – the customers can trade-in thei…

You Should Probably Stop Drinking Coco Cola After Watching This Video

When I was a child, I loved the black bottle of coke and thought it’s the best refresher in the summer season. My parents used to tell me, not to drink much as this may not be good for health, but what they didn’t knew that Coco-cola or any other similar soft-drink is more harmful than any good. I won’t say it’s as bad as smoking cigarette but it’s really bad for our health. Specially […]

Arvind Kejriwal Brings FDI In Retail Sector In Delhi To A Screeching Halt!

The business of politics and the politics of business; both are very interesting subjects. But when it comes to actual implementation of either of these in actual life, then things can go pretty nasty.
Last month, we had celebrated the victory of Arvind Kejriwal as he defeated three times CM Sheila Dixit in Delhi. It was a symbol of new hope and a new beginning.
Around the same time, we had reported that Government has now allowed major changes to FDI policy, as unlisted Indian companies can now list themselves in foreign stock exchanges. And, we had also shared with you the news that TESCO, world’s second largest retail chain is finally opening its stores in India. Under Sheila Dixit, Delhi too had agreed for FDI in retail sector, and things were looking progressive.
But yesterday, Aam Aadmi Party, the ruling political party under Arvind Kejriwal has written to Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) stating that Delhi will no longer be host to FDI in retail of any kind.

Are Prospective Car Buyers Your Digital Goldmine? New IAB Study Points To Broader Appeal Beyond Dealers

Young, ethnically diverse, high earners who are more digitally savvy and responsive to online advertising than the general population? Sounds like a digital marketer’s dream audience target.
New research from the IAB and Prosper Insight on Auto Intenders — adults ages 18+ who are planning to buy or lease a car or truck within the next 6 months — is clearly aimed at auto manufactures and dealers, yet this consumer segment could have broader appeal to a range of consumer marketers.
For example, nearly all auto intenders (96 percent) research products online before purchasing, and they are more likely to be influenced by online ads than the general population across a range of retail categories from electronics, telecom services and home improvement.

According to the study, 14 percent of US adults are planning to buy an automobile within the next six months. Nearly half (49 percent) of auto intenders are between the ages of 18 and 35 with median annual household incomes of $63,006 compared …

Facebook's Coolness Problem: More chatter surfaced on early indications that some segments of teens might be moving to non-facebook social media platforms, although it appears to represent more of a plateauing of growth than an outright exodus. Search: Google has been forcing webmasters to prophylactically prune their links via the Google Disavow tool, lest they be branded as [...]
