With Pinterest’s new in-Pin search users can zoom in on a specific element within a Pin to find other Pins that are visually similar to the selected element. It’s image-driven search without keywords. What you won’t see in Pinterest’s visually similar search results are Promoted Pins.“We do not show Promoted Pins in visually similar results. Microsoft Lumia 950 and 950 XL will be Available from November 20

Microsoft will start selling their latest flagship – the Lumia 950 and the 950 XL end of this month. The Lumia devices will be introduced in the US markets on November 20 and will be available exclusively on AT&T. However, Microsoft will also start selling the unlocked variant of the Lumia 950 XL on the same day.
As we reported earlier, Satya Nadella had announced that both the devices will be available in India starting from December, that being said there is still no information on the price tags these phones will carry in the Indian context.Microsoft is all set to release the Windows 10 Mobile on November 12 along with the Thunderbolt 2 update. Facebook To Fight Belgian Court Mandate To Stop Tracking Browsing Behavior

Like Google, Facebook is under fire in Europe from privacy regulators. Today the company said it would appeal a decision by a court in Belgium that ordered Facebook stop collecting data on user browsing behavior when not logged in to the site.The lawsuit was filed earlier this year by the Belgian privacy authority. It arises in the broader context of Belgian complaints about Facebook privacy practices more generally. According to the Wall Street Journal Facebook faces immediate fines and must stop all monitoring of non-logged in user behavior within 48 hours:Local media reported Monday evening that a Brussels commercial court had ruled that Facebook must stop within 48 hours the collection of data on users’ Internet browsing when they are not logged in. That’s according to the newest data from W3Techs, a company that tracks the usage of different web technologies. Snapchat Hits 6 Billion Daily Video Views

The online video arms race continues to accelerate.The latest salvo? Snapchat users are now watching more than six billion videos a day. That’s triple what people were watching on the ephemeral chat app last May and an increase of two billion since September. The new number, which Snapchat confirmed with The Financial Times over the weekend, follows last week’s news that Facebook is now serving eight billion daily video views. Facebook’s total is double the view total the social network claimed in April.As close watchers of this battle well know, the competition for video eyeballs is more than a mere numbers game.
