YouTube to phase out exact counts for public-facing subscriber numbers

YouTube is phasing out exact counts for public-facing subscriber numbers on channels with 1,000 or more followers, beginning on September 2. This update will gradually roll-out throughout next month across YouTube and the public YouTube Data API Service.Creators will still be able to see their exact subscriber numbers in YouTube Studio and YouTube analytics. Spotify is rumored to be launching a “Create a podcast” button within its app that will allow users to record, edit and publish podcasts using the Anchor podcast creation app, according to Engadget.
